Blinking Red Broadband Light and No Service. What is wrong?

I connected the line into the telephone jack and I have everything plugged in, but the broadband light is blinking red. Service was supposed to be turned on today at 8:00 pm and I still get no internet connection. I'm also in a apartment. What is the problem?

Iv done resets on dvr,modem, and tv router. Still uverse unavailable. $hits getting old. None stop issues with this service since I signed up. Regretting switching to this.

Sorry to read of the trouble you are having. We recommend downloading our myATT app from the app store or texting myATT to 8758 to receive a link to download it. It allows you to troubleshoot in the palm of your hand and even setup a technician appointment. It is much faster than calling in.

Ive done all that and when the tech came, he changed out the router and guess what...service drops more than ever!  Good luck Dcsmooth5z

After activation of first unit I had 3 days of good service.  5 bars and the name MicroCell across the top.  City had to turn off electricity in our area and the unit went down when it was turned back on.  Local dealer replaced my unit and now I have a flashing network light and no name "MicroCell"  Communiucation cuts out while talking.

I have the same issue! I have had service 1 week and it's never worked. They wanted to send me to a fee based resolution next. Um no! Fix your product and instead of charging you should give credits for poor service.

Are ATT uverse services down in San Diego? Everything has not been working at my house home phone, tv, and internet for the past two days and no one answers when I call. Please help.

I too am victim of AT$T it's a crime what they get away with . Check out your bill and notice all the random fees for ?? I hate the service it's slow and slower - if I have a day and half off work to contact them I will - non stop inconsistencies and horrible customer resolution has reached my max for tolerance. I too had a router /modem changed out that was bigger and better (FOR 10 days ) I now am forced to wait for tech to arrive on a Friday Good Foday nonetheless so I'm extremely irritated and wish I could go to different service asap but I'm paid up till next month so I'll deal I guess- Boo AT$T

this just happened to me yesterday, 7-19-17. red blinking light an no reason for it! i have a scheduled technician coming, so hopefully they show up! i have had nothing but issues from ATT since i got them in January. I do NOT recommend them for service!

"This is a group of U-verse service specialists who are knowledgeable about U-verse and will stay with your problem until the end"

 

Apparently you are spewing corporate mantra and never used the above group to whom you are referring yourself. Beyond telling you they are running diagnostics from their end and telling you everything is fine, their goal is to get you off the phone as quickly as possible. I turned my router off and had them run their diagnostics. Amazingly they "connected fine and the diags showed there was nothing wrong with my service".

Nothing but a bunch of frauds
