AT&T Wi-Fi Connectivity Issues
I'm having issues with Wi-Fi connectivity in my apartment.
The issue only occurs with Wi-Fi. I have my Roku and computer hooked up via ethernet cables.
When using safari on my iPhone, sometimes web pages wont load when I am connected to the Wi-Fi. Sometimes I will have to turn the Wi-Fi on my phone on and off and other times I toggle airplane mode.
I know this isn't an issue with my phone because when I connect to Wi-Fi at a friend's place or at my place of work, it's fine.
My apartment is only 597 square feet and the modem/router provided by AT&T is located on my TV stand.
This occurs even if I am sitting on the couch in front of my TV so I don't think walls within my complex are the issue.
I have read other threads and have reset the network settings on my phone.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Multi-Dwelling Units (MDUs), such as apartments and condos, sometime have problems with wireless channel congestion. This is where several close by gateways are using the same wireless channels, causing conflicts. You have the ability to change the radio channels used by your gateway in an effort to find a less crowded channel to use. You can access your gateway setup at http://192.168.1.254/, enter your device access code from the gateway label, select Wi-Fi, then find the WiFi Channel setting. You can play with different channels to find the best results. If your gateway supports both 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz, there will be two settings to change.
