Downloaded the Fox News app and error advising my provider won’t allow.

This is required for Fox News app to work... You will need to get a paid tv provider to have the app work.

 

Edit... ATT Uverse IPTV or DirecTv or local cable company. For Uverse IPTV, news channel (200-300, 1200-1300, Fox News 1210) starts with U200 ($60 per month, 12 month promo). For1 1 TV which receives the DVR.  Additionally this provides the unlimited home internet with $30 fee waived (no 1T data cap) plus gives $10 discount on internet price for a total of $40 in savings.

Can I watch Fox News Channel on the application?

Yes, Fox News Channel can be streamed live through the Fox News App. Users will need log in with authorized cable, satellite, or telco provider credentials to stream Fox News live.

To stream Fox News live, tap on 'Live TV' from the Menu, and then tap the 'Log In' button located in the right corner. Then select your cable provider and enter login credentials.

In addition to your U-verse TV services, do you also have DirecTV Now services that you use the same ID for? This may sound like an odd question, but it is an important troubleshooting method at this time.

If not, could you provide us with the exact message your app shows you when you try to access it with your U-verse sign in?

I do not have cable or direct tv. The exact message says: your service provider currently doesn’t grant access to this content. Please contact them for more details.

When opening the app does it prompt you to enter any login information?

Also, have you tried restarting your phone in an attempt to access it?

It is the app via my roku. Not my phone. No login information is prompted.
