AT&T DNS Error Assist
Hi all,
It seems AT&T has moved their "Opt-Out of DNSErrorAssist" page. The link https://start.att.net/dnserrorassist/about/srchTrm=Redirect%20Bin is no longer valid. This is the same link that AT&T support, just this morning, told me to use, along with these instructions:
1. Type the incorrect URL (for example: www.golf.ocm instead of www.golf.com) and receive a screen with multiple results
The screen provides a notice advising the site does not exist and notifies the customer a search was performed. They can select the option Why did I get this page? | Opt out of this service.
2. Select Why did I get this page? | Opt out of this service, and see information about the service as well as the ability to Opt Out of the service.
3. Select Yes (opt out) and direct to the CMP. The screen immediately opens to the DNS Error Assist opt out option
4. Select Opt-Out > Save
Can anyone give me a GOOD link?

So yes as usual, ATT have indeed moved this option to: https://cmp.att.com/cmpportal/ and of course as usual the option doesnt work: "Our system doesn't seem to be cooperating. Sorry for any inconvenience. Please try again later"
Update - I did a browser reload and tried again - success in setting to 'No', BUT I'm still getting the re-direct...

Steps still valid:
*****turn the setting off. save.... then turn the setting on. save... turn it off again...save... finally worked. Give it a try!

They have moved it again. Now you have to do this:
1. Sign in
2. Click "My AT&T" in the upper right corner and select "Update my Profile"
3. Select the header "Privacy Choices"
4. Turn DNS Error Assist off
5. Curse AT&T because this doesn't actually work.
Mine was already off, and the problem just started happening recently. I've turned it on and off multiple times while saving, and it still doesn't stop it showing up.
