Try doing a traceroute to your League of Legends server.  Ask Legends if you have an issue determining the name or IP address of an LoL server.

Once you have a traceroute, post it here for analysis.

I have to say that the reverse DNS host name for that node is a absolute riot (pun intended): plz-stop-pinging-me.

Okay, so there is a definite jump in latency between Lombard (lbrd), IL and Chicago (cgc), IL which is not deserved given that Lombard is essentially part of the Chicago Metro.

Here is when we actually need ATTHelp to get a technical resource to look at what might be happening on that circuit (it may be at capacity due to a failure of some other circuit or something).

I am having the exact same problem. How do we get ATTHelp to help with the issue?

Here to help with your high ping, @Sambino!

Just as @JefferMC asked of the original poster, attempt to run a traceroute to your League of Legends server and post the results here so we can assist further.

We await the results!

I too am having this issue. From 36 (about a month ago) into more recently 39 with excessive spiking upwards, and more recently as of 2-3 days now I'm steady at 64-65 with a lot of spiking still.

After having nearly a month long of back and forth with Riot support and countless tracerts, tests, and checkups they finally closed the ticket leaving me with asking for ISP/ATT help.

tracert to league of legends server on NA as requested 192.64.170.1

Hi, zzat8.

Try uploading your screen shot again, it didn't load properly. We want to see exactly what your ping looks like so we can determine the best course of action for you.

I ran tracert for 104.160.131.3 which is what edwin890 did but I see on League of Legends support page their ip for their server is 192.64.170.1 and am unsure which is the correct one so I ran tracert for both. For 104.160.131.3 I got a response 2 times but for the other address I only got request timed out.

64-70ms is what I deal with on LoL, which is down from the around 100ms it used to be before they moved their servers.

I envy those that can go under 30ms consistently.

Hi, I've done everything in this page multiple times with no solution appearing. After having a back and forth ticket with League of Legends team for over a month it was ended with them stating that they believe it to be my ISP's problem.

Hi, zzat8.

We suggest that you reboot your gateway, because this will refresh your network. This will help with the timeouts, and will help with your game.

Let us know if this helps.

I have restarted my gateway nearly everyday for the last month in hopes it would solve any of the issues at hand but without success.
