5268AC all port forwarding. Tech unable to asssit

I have a 5268AC. I have been trying to open ports for VNC and streaming ports. I have 4 desktops hard wired. all used to work fine up until a year ago when all the VNC ports got blocked (40001-40004). I called tech support and they couldn't resolve it, so I gave up and switched to using 3899 RDP instead on 1 pc and then using VNC to connect to the other computers using local the ip's. 2 months ago, port 3899 got blocked. I called and after 45 minutes they were able to resolve it. this week, both of my streaming ports got blocked, 8888 and 32400. I called and was on the phone for about an hour. they tried everything and reset my gateway twice. they sent me another gateway thinking that may be the problem, no change, all VNC ports and streaming ports were blocked. Somehow 3899 was still open. after 90 minutes on the phone and several hard resets and support creating and adding the ports themselves using the PC name and the ip address, no go. they even unblocked all the ports and still nothing worked. My Dad had the same router. I tried it on his. 32400 and 3389 were open his, all others blocked.

We are happy to help you set up port forwarding, @day4175.

When you set up port forwarding, you set up rules to tell the gateway to route data sent or received on a port to a specific IP address on your home network. Select your router 5268AC (if not already selected) from the drop down menu. Detailed step-by-step instructions will be provided to you.

If these steps do not allow you to access your VNC & streaming ports please contact ConnecTech. You will receive expert support for your software, and home network issues anytime you need it! If you have any future concerns remember, we are always here and happy to help. Thank you being apart of the AT&T family.

The gateway has already been set up with rules to this specific IP. Port checker keeps telling me it's blocked from AT&t side. From where do I look at these detailed steps? If the AT&t tech support cannot open the ports what other steps are there

Hey there, @day4175!

We're glad to hear you were able to set up the rules for your IP- when you are in your gateway and go through the port forwarding steps, it is also important to save the new settings, and reboot your gateway afterwards.

If you continue having issues regarding this, we do suggest getting in contact with ConnecTech - they are different from our version of technical support, and are experts for your software.

Let us know if you have any further questions, we'll be happy to help!

Att is blocking these ports. The issue is not on the consumer side. Pushing for me to pay for connectech is not adding value, it's pushing sales that will not repair the blocking.

If you would have read my original post that stated that I have already added the rules and assigned to them to the specific ip, shows you are not interested in helping. Just pushing for connectech.
