WIFI Wirelss or Wired?

Hello,

I have a Sharp Aquos Smart Tv that has a built in Wirless connection. So I tried to connect to the internet for my streaming services and

I am having problems connecting to the internet, So I bought a WiFi Extender and tried to connect and still had problems, then I tried to connect the extender with an Ethernet cable and it still does not work.

Please help what else can I do
