WiFi light not turning on

I just made a custom WiFi password. The WiFi turned off so I reset the router. Every light needed is now on except the WiFi light, I’ve waited a long time...

The wifi light will not come on until a device is connected on the new password....

Access the wifi settings of a device, smart phone as example, select the name of your wireless network and input the custom password. Once the phone is connected would then have a wifi light on the gateway.....

Remember for light to be on or flashing needs a device connected.... if no light on then no device is connected.

We'd love to help with your WiFi connection, @alexa51.

Are you sure the wireless feature on your router is enabled? Is your broadband light green or blinking/solid red? Is your WiFi light green or flickering green? It should be green when a device or computer is wirelessly connected to the router and it should be flickering when there is an activity from the device connected using a wireless connection.

To get started, we suggest that you view this article to get tips on how to Troubleshoot your WiFi Connection. You will be able to verify if your wireless feature is enabled, check your wireless settings on your device and also check your wireless signal.

Let us know if this helps, we're here if you need anything else!
