Hi mrpanda23, we'd be glad to help you stabilize your Internet connection.

Let's begin by restarting your gateway. This will refresh your connection and help stabilize it. Just unplug the power connection behind the gateway for ~15 seconds, plug it back in, and wait for the Broadband light to turn green. If you have the BGW320 model, wait for the light on the front to be solid white.

If you don't see an improvement, you can perform a factory reset. This will return all gateway settings to a default state. Any custom Wi-Fi passwords, Wi-Fi names, SSID, Static IP, and Port Forwarding rules will be lost, but they can be restored after the gateway is back up and running. Locate the small red button and pinhole on the lower rear of the gateway and depress for ~15 seconds.

We'd also like for you to read our article on Troubleshooting Your Internet, Wi-Fi, Gaming & Overall Online Experience. You'll find several different ways to troubleshoot and improve your Wi-Fi connection.

If the problem persists, please give us more information, so we can determine what your next steps should be:

  • Do any of the lights on your gateway blink or change color when the Wi-Fi drops? Checking the gateway status lights can help us pinpoint the cause of the connection loss.
  • Does this only happen on your PlayStation? This can help us determine if the problem is with your console or the service.
  • Is your Ethernet connection stable? This will help us refine our troubleshooting suggestions.

We'll be awaitin your response!
