WiFi connection now blocking devices’ access to certain apps
A few days ago I started having an issue with my WiFi connection on all devices that have always worked correctly when connected. The devices (iPhone, iPads and Samsung Galaxy S9) started acting as if the internet connection was lost. This only happens based on what I’m trying to access. The browser and YouTube work without issue but pretty much all the other apps will not work. I’ve been on the ohone with tech support and chatted with support earlier without any answers. I did find on my own that when diabeling the firewall in my router settings specifically on my iPad that I have zero issues with connection to apps. I know there has been a recent software update associated with my router and I’m wondering if this is the root of my problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I would love some help on this. The repeated reboots / resets of my router and devices’ is not the answer, that much I can guarantee.
