Which WiFI Extenders work with Arris BGW210-700

Which WiFi extenders will work with the ARRIS BGW210-700 from AT&T? I am looking at TP-Link AC1200 WiFi Range Extender on Amazon but don't know if it is compatible. How can I find compatible extenders other than the one offered by AT&T?

Hello @WanyeLWinquist,

We understand that you have a question about what WiFi extender would work with your router. Don't worry, we can help with that.

Have you tried looking into Airties Wifi extender? That would be the WiFi extender that would work with your router.

Please let us know if that helps answer your question.

My "older" AT&T router had a much better signal and we didn't need an extender. Now AT&T has replaced the router with a "newer" one that doesn't have as powerful a WiFi signal in our home. To add insult to injury you want me to spend $50 to make the signal better. Really? How can I find compatible extenders other than the one offered by AT&T? That is the real question, because I won't give AT&T more dollars to fix a problem AT&T created. Very disappointing that the answer is always "we have more equipment you can buy to use our service." Perhaps it is time for me to switch providers....

We understand needing to best coverage using WiFi is important @WayneLWinquist.

We recommend, the AT&T Smart Wi-Fi Extender, it utilizes state-of-the-art mesh technology to expand your home Wi-Fi and cover locations with a weak Wi-Fi signal.

Adding a Smart Extender to your AT&T Wi-Fi network will increase your coverage by up to 1,000 sq. ft. and helps to reduce network congestion.

If you have any additional concerns, please feel free to reach out to us on AT&T Community Forums!

AT&T has adopted the scummy business practices of Apple. It really infuriates me that my thousands of dollars worth of extenders and access point's are worthless.

I am definitely seeking an alternative to this company. I bought business internet but before they finally made it out to install. Which was almost 3 weeks? I installed my equipment so my access would reach throughout my business.

Have ATT Uverse ARRIS BGW210 WiFi Router... It works great if you are within 20 feet... How can I get a great signal off this WiFi Router when I'm 80 feet away?

I have the EXACT same question (and problem.) I refuse to give AT&T anymore $ since they "upgraded" my router resulting in poorer wi-fi performance.

I read all the comments, laughed at your comment back to AT&T, but didn't see your specific questions answered.

Perhaps I missed it but let me know if you went with the TP-Link AC1200 and if it is compatible.

In my searches, not many are due to the GHz with the upgraded AT&T router.

There are several Wi-Fi extenders that can work with Arris BGW210-700. The extenders will, however, vary in price, range, internet speed, number of bands, and number of devices supported. Arris BGW 210-700 being a dual-band gateway will work best with an extender that can support dual-band Wi-Fi. You can check the list of the best extenders for dual-band internet in the following article: http://technologyreviewer.com/best-wifi-range-extenders/

Most of the extenders will give you a performance and ensure you can access your internet as far away from the gateway as possible.
