VPN Connection
First, I am not trying to activate the VPN within AT&T's equipment. I just need AT&T to allow a device on the inside of my home network to create a VPN connection to a corporate network via the internet. All of the specifics of the connection will be handled by the Cisco/Meraki cloud, so AT&T techs should not need any information about the other end. I am told by all the advanced tech support people at AT&T that they can absolutely do this but they need a supervisor to make a change on their end for it to work. Then they transfer me and I get a different department with no knowledge of what I'm calling about and have to start over; or I'm told this supervisor will call me in 20-30 minutes and I'm on day 6 with no call back...ever! I am down to either losing my job or getting different internet service which is a really huge expense and hassle. Please tell me someone can help. And by the way - I have NO idea what type of internet I have. I've been told I have a different one by everyone I've talked to. I know it must come in through my DirectTV satellite which then runs through a Genie wireless bridge, and finally into a wireless router which is connected to the VPN (Meraki) box via ethernet cable. The Meraki is then connected to my PC. PLEASE HELP!
