Uverse Internet goes out every night at same time

For the last ten days or so, around 9:20 pm, my ATT Uverse Internet goes out. It does not matter who is home and using the Internet or how Internet is being used (WiFi only vs ethernet), it goes out and the modem has to be rebooted. Why in the world would this happen???

Let's consider what could be causing your U-verse internet @davismcneil, issue.

 

Just a thought, make sure your U-verse router in plug directly into a wall socket and not a surge protector. 

 

If the issue persists, please consider, you might have an issue with your router over heating. Is it position in a well ventilated area?

I went to the ATT chat for technical support through my account last night (I think I found that through the Contact Us link), and the agent said she detected a sync problem on my line. She reset it, and wrote it won't be happening again, so we'll see. Definitely recommend using the Live Chat because if you have ever had to call, you don't ever want to do that again :)

It's really funny that it does it about the same time every night. It is the internet that is going down because I can't even use my computer to get to AT&T. Will try that tonight BEFORE it goes down (AGAIN).
