Utility box in back yard

I called At&T two weeks ago to come to look at the utility box in our backyard. The repairman showed up on time - thank you!

 

He said it was definitely in need of repair or removal and that he would pass it on to the engineers. It's been two weeks and no word. When can I expect a resolution to this issue? We're having a new fence installed and it would definitely make it easier if the box were removed or repaired prior to that time.

 

And by the way - NONE of the forums apply to this type of issue! How 'bout an AT&T in the community forum?
