Unreliable connections from gateway, wifi regularly disconnects from devices
We are having a difficult time in keeping a consistent WiFi connection. We are having to regularly reboot the router, sometimes more than once a day. Speed test show no issues, smarthome says there are "no issues". But various devices will have a challenging time connecting or staying connected. Even when sitting right next to the gateway I have had devices disconnect and then reconnect. We have tried rebooting the Gateway, and running diagnostics tests and nothing has helped. Both my significant other and I work from home and need reliable internet please help!

Frequent disconnect from all wireless devices. Sounds very familiar. I too would like to initiate a more thorough test of the gateway.

Let's get your internet working better, @nlholley!
Next, you may want to follow our internet troubleshooting guide.
You can fix many common internet issues by restarting your Wi-Fi® gateway. Here’s how:
If that doesn't help, you can try connecting your gateway directly to a device using an ethernet cable. This'll let us know if your wifi connection or gateway itself is causing this.
Please let us know how it goes! We may need to take a closer look at your equipment.

I am having this same issue! We have had our internet at this house for a couple of years but in the last 6 months to one year, the internet has become unreliable. Our phones and computers disconnect throughout the day. I have just started working from home and need reliable Wifi.
I have done all of the troubleshooting, sometimes unplugging everything and restarting more than once a day. I had a technician come to my house but he did not look inside - said the problem was down the street and he said he fixed it and left. Even before he left, my husbands computer disconnected again and the tech said it was probably the computer. Anyway, needless to say, that didn’t fix the issue. Then they sent me a new Gateway and it seemed for a couple of days that our issue was resolved but after a couple of days, the same problem occurred again and it is daily now. I have three extenders issues from AT&T but frequently don’t show anything connected to them. My smarthome app always either says everything is fine or can’t connect to internet. I need some answers! Should I purchase better extenders for my home?

Welcome to U-verse lousy service. They don’t seem to care about their customers or want to fix issues. They will probably tell you it’s your modem seems to be their standard answer
