Unable to Install AT T Internet Security Suite
Hi,
I am unable to install the ATT Internet Security suite (aka McAfee Antivirus suite). Following are the details.
1. I have a windows 10 computer, which had a previous version of McAfee (also through ATT internet and expired). I uninstalled it using instructions on the KB article page (uninstalled from Control Panel, used pre-install tool and MCPR tool).
2. Navigated to "Download AT&T Internet Security Suite powered by McAfee" page
3. Took me through the login page and eventually to the download link page
4. Upon clicking "Download Security Suite" it takes me to generic McAfee landing page with "Buy" options (no prompt for downloads).
5. Verified that we qualify for the free version and compatibility
- 25+ Mbps Internet Plan
- Computer has 8GB RAM
- Updated to latest security patches for Windows 10
Tried many 6+ times with slight variations and no luck!

I have the same problem. However, I noticed something that has not been mentioned, but when I get to the place where it says to select English or Spanish version I click on English and both options are highlighted, so could this be the problem?

This has not been mentioned, but I have the same problem, but when asked to select either the English of Spanish version and click on English, then both of them are highlighted and then I am sent to McAfee. Could that be the problem?

I have tried since March to help ATT get this fixed. You are better off contacting Mcafee and submitting a ticket. They will get you set up on a free trial. But this will expire and you will be back to where you are now. I was told that you need to make sure that you are using the @att.net email to access the download. Even that doesn't work. I have wasted so much time on this with ATT suppport that I ended up buying Norton instead.

I have a great ideal. Why doesn't AT&T give us a no charge coupon so we can present to McAfee and they can charge AT&T the discounted price they get.

I have contacted support at at least 6 times and keep getting told the link to the FREE AT&T Internet Security Suite is not working and the AT&T engineers are working on it. What is the hold up and how much longer before this ON-GOING issue is resolved. Plus why have customers not been notified of this issue via the Customer log in website?? Be proactive not reactive if you want to keep customer. A multimillion dollar company like AT&T should have this issue resolved in hours not months.!

So I gather this issue has been going on for months. AT&T do you plan on resolving this decade or should we all just move on and buy our own security software? Would be nice if a multimillion dollar company would actually help us out and POST on WEBSITE solution, but I guess us customers are not that important to them

I have been one of the main complainers about this issue. Yesterday I was able to finally download it from the AT&T site. It installed over the 90 day trial that had expired over a month ago and they would not respond to my phone calls or emails. I am still not happy that it took as long as it did as it should have been a quick fix. My Grandson is happy so that makes me happy to have his pc protected. AT&T has turned into a crappy company with little to poor to no service for their customers.
