TV,Internet,Outage

As of 3/12/20 the internet,TV was off due to an outage when we got home last night. We call ATT customer service 3/13/20 and explained what was going on. They did an trouble shooter to see will that help Nothing. Same thing all day toda. A young lady got in the phone stated someone will be out on Sunday between 12-8. Call back 3/13/20 ask the customer services what is the centivites for the outage for 3 days. She said $8.42 for the 3 days. I stated so u telling me with the virus going on I can look at tv how will I know what’s going on if I’m in the house with know TV are internet. She stayed sorry that’s all we have for any customers. But ATT want there money every month from people and I want internet and TV every day if I’m paying for it out of my account. That’s an awful thing that a person have to be in the house for three days with out. Att you wanna offer $8.42. So AT&T put me on hold a manager come back states they can only give you $22.92 credit for three days without Internet or TV for any customers. And that’s the policy for $8.42 for anybody without TV or Internet. All the money AT&T made from people they want to compensate they customers with that or less so sad but I am surely looking to take my business somewhere else after all these years only thing I can do is shake my head

Generally, they give a $5 a day credit once your service is restored so you actually did better than normal. $22.92 ÷ 3 = $7.64

How much is your internet/TV bill a month? Divide that by 30 for a daily cost. Is it more than the $7.64 you got?

$7.64 x 30 = $229. Is your bill more than $229 a month for internet and TV?

I am so with you on this! Ever since they upgraded to Fiber Optic I lose my connection frequently or it is so slow! They have really gone down hill!
