Trying to connect to a Shark ion robot vacuum

Shark ion robot vacuum requires a router that supports a 2.4 GHz network. does the ATT network support 2.4 GHz

Yes, all AT&T gateways support 2.4Ghz.

AT&T routers do support 2.4 GHz, and you should see the option for our 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wave as well. If when attempting to connect to the internet you only see one Wi-Fi Network name, that means you have Band Steering enabled. 

 

To disable it, you simply will need to download the Smart Home Manager application, and rename both of your waves.

I've renamed both waves, and that did not work. My Shark still says cannot connect to the network.  Is there anything else I can do?
