Smart home manager

Hello. I want to ask if it is possible to run SHM and reschedule a tech/monitor outage in the app itself using only mobile data? Or it won't log in if it is not connected to an AT&T modem network?

The answer to your questions is yes! You can reschedule your service appointment and check the status of an outage (the estimated resolution time may or may not be available) with the Smart Home Manager while using mobile data.

Yes, you can use a mobile connection to have Smart Home Manager check the connection from the network side and tell you that it isn't working and offer to schedule a tech.  Normally if you're connected from your network, it doesn't want to offer to schedule a tech (because if you're able to connect, the connection is working).

JefferMC, thank you for your response. Can you also confirm that it is possible to track outage info (if outage is still on) ) in SHM while being on phone mobile data?

I'm not sure that you can "track" outage data in SHM at all.  I just know that SHM will test connectivity to the Gateway from the network and if that fails, it normally tells you that.

To track active outages, you can use our Outage Checker online. By signing in, it will let you know if you are currently in an outage and if there is an estimated time of repair. You can check this while using mobile data as well. If you check the Outage tool and it doesn't show you are in an outage, reach back out to us so we can investiaget this for you.
