Which unit do you have?
Are you currently paying a monthly fee for the unit?
If your a legacy DSL account, you purchase the replacement.
If you a Uverse based account, prior to 2015 some units were purchased others have a monthly equipment fee.
Today all Uverse units would have a monthly fee of either $7 if grandfathered account or $10 if regular account.
