I cancelled my service and was supposed to get an email about how to return equipments. I haven't received an email yet. I've checked my junk folder too. How long does it take to get the email?
Small towns like mine do not have a UPS store and the mailing service will charge me for the box, packing and shopping charges. They also require a shipping label from you.
Please send the equipment return box and shipping label.
DIRECTV and Fixed Wireless Internet customers – Drop off the box at the post office. You can track it via fedex.com.
It should be noted that this is only if you have gotten a return label (via RMA) from AT&T. Otherwise, you need to go to "The UPS Store" or a "FedEx Office" to ship your package.

No, if you have an RMA label, then you would not have to pay at USPS. However, it's much easier to take the unboxed equipment and your account number to a The UPS Store or FedEx Office.
THIS kind of nonsense is why AT&T is in such big trouble.
I get the feeling that AT&T doesn't want to receive the equipment back so they can charge a nice hefty non-return fee.
Outrageous. The pattern seen with these situations is pretty clear to me.
Exactly what kind of nonsense are you talking about? You can return the gear to any one of thousands of locations, you don't have to pack it, you don't have to pay for shipping, you don't have to stand in line at "the cable office."
WE DO NOT HAVE A UPS STORE OR FEDEX OFFICE ... We have 2 small local postal shipping stores that will pack and ship UPS or FedEx or USPS. Again, they will charge me for the box, the packing material and the shopping fees. And they still want a label. AT&T says I can just drop stuff and they will know what to do. They say NO they don't.
@Fred..Eff, a The UPS Store or a FedEx Office will know what to do. If you do not have one of those nearby, then you need to contact AT&T and tell them that you do not have access to either and you need an RMA label. You can do that by phone, or by sending a Private Message to @ATTU-verseCare (click on the name here, then click on Send Message).

Do you have a post office (USPS)? Even Mayberry had a post office.
