We'd be glad to help you restore your Wi-Fi connection, latinacruse.
Did you perform a soft reset where you unplugged the gateway from the wall, or a factory reset where you pressed the red reset button on the back?
If you haven't performed a factory reset, we recommend doing so. It's a good way to refresh everything and start over to reestablish your Wi-Fi connection. Be sure to jot down your custom settings, like your static IP address if you have one, or your Wi-Fi network name (SSID). You can change them back after the factory reset.
Here are the steps:
Let us know if you were able to restore your Wi-Fi connection, or if you need further assistance.

The Wi-Fi light indicates that something has connected to your Gateway. If nothing has an active connection, the light will remain off. If you actually did do a Factory Reset, and the SSID / passphrase had been customized, those customizations were lost and nothing will be able to connect to the factory-default SSID/passphrase.
