Remodeling room with ATT equipment

I am remodeling (replacing paneling with sheet rock) the room that has my ATT line in and equipment for TV & Internet. Should I get ATT involved or is this something my contractor should be able to handle.

Any competent home improvement company will be able to work around your existing wiring, no need to involve ATT.

Hello @davidk99,

When it comes to your AT&T equipment we can always offer you a relocation, in case you need it moved whether it’s temporarily or permanently.

With that being said our equipment can also be worked around or temporarily disconnected. When reconnecting your equipment you may just have to follow some minor “troubleshooting” to get it going again if it does not come right back on.

For assistance troubleshooting we recommend visiting our “Troubleshoot & Resolve” tool which can give you specific guidance depending on your device.

We hope this helps @davidk99, please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.
