AT&T related help: Gateway status lights – BGW210

To reboot the gateway, either pull the power cord for a few seconds, or go http://192.168.1.254/ and click the Restart button. As thechef1 says, pushing the WPS button will not cause a restart.

Connected to what? That only works for Wi-Fi. And the answer is no (see https://www.att.com/support/article/u-verse-high-speed-internet/KM1212981/) in terms of Wi-Fi as red indicates a failure.
What else did you do?
Why were you pressing the WPS button? That has nothing to do with a reboot.
