Purchase My own gateway?
My previous Internet provider allowed their customers to purchase their own gateway, rather than renting from them. Does AT&Tallow their customers to do the same? I currently have FIOS.

AT&T Internet requires the use of AT&T equipment.
You can add a router behind the AT&T gateway but you cannot replace the AT&T gateway.
