PS4 won’t connect to private servers
Okie dokie so I have 2 internet boxes. One is here with me. The other is across state at my Brother-in-law’s home. He and my husband like to play PS4 games together. There used to be no problem, but now they can no longer join private parties or a private game together. They can only join public servers (ex. Battlefield 1). Is this because both boxes are through the same account or is this a different problem entirely?

Good morning @Fullcount32,
We've seen this issue in the past, and usually, resetting your network connections on your Playstation. Make sure to backup your game saves on the cloud just in case, but this should only effect the system software. If still having problems, you may want to contact Playstation to see if there are issues with the same accounts joining the same private game.
