PS4 Powerline 500 Adapter Speeds up11mbps dl1-kbps

I'm having trouble trying to configure why my download speeds are still slow. I have a Powerline 500 Ethernet extender & that states I should be getting minimum 50mbps but I only get up to 7-19mbps for upl & 5298kbps-4mbps dnl. I have an Arris dual band router I believe & DSL lightspeed connection(I think 😅). Please someone help me find a solution.

I've tried so many different things on the Att internet settings page but nothing has worked 😞

Hello @Natsacks, let’s see what we can do!

Are you only experiencing these speed issues on your PS4 and not on any other device on your network?

Also, are you hardwired into the network/cable?

Please let us know.

What speed plan are you paying for?

Yes only on the PS4, every other device I use/have all speeds are at least 30mbps+

No it's not technically hardwired to the router but I'm using an adapter that works through the houses wiring but I ended up reconnecting it to WiFi & still only getting speeds 7mbps-29mbps & that's when no one is home except me. I'm not the primary account holder so I'm not exactly sure what plan we have but on the router home page it says DSL lightspeed, not sure if that helps?

Hello @Natsacks,

Have you tried contacting Sony for support in regards to your speed issues?

It seems that other devices function just fine with your current plan, so this may have to do with PS4.

Is your PS4 in the same room as your router? If not, have you attempted moving into the same the room to see if your speeds go up on it?

No I haven't contacted Sony, figured it had something to do with the router settings/distance from it because I've gotten faster/decent speeds at friends houses with my PS4. What are some suggestions in terms of changing settings on the router webpage?
