Pace 5268ac - How do I edit device names (change from "unknown" to something meaningful)
Is there a way to edit the device list in a Pace 5268ac? I'd like to be able to change "unknown" (followed by mac address) to a name that's meaningful to me. I'd also like to be able to delete devices that are no longer connected from the list (individually). Thanks for any help you can provide!

Unfortunately the names are auto populated and can not be edited. ~DavidT AT&T Manager - Social Media (Office Hours Sun-Thur 6a-3p CST.)

You should see a Green "Accept as Solution" button down near the Reply button under each reply, but only if you're logged in and are the OP (or have some sort of administrative access to mark Solutions).

How do I individually delete devices that are no longer active? (part of original question). If the only way is to reset the gateway, then I assume I will have to log in with the original manufacturer's password and then reset the SSID and p/w and the p/w for device access. Assume that the active wireless devices will reconnect?

This is for Pace 5268ac s/w ver. 11.14.1.533851-att. It may work for most if not all versions. Log into router. From the Home screen navigate to Wi-fi/LAN/Status. Scroll down to Devices. At the bottom of the Devices block slide the scrollbar right to display options which should be: Device Details/Edit Names. From there you can rename devices per their naming convention shown. Be sure you get the new name right because I see no option to edit again if you make a mistake. Also, I don't know where to remove devices. Hope this helps.
