Pace 5268AC error when changing DHCP Network Range

I am trying to limit the address pool for my local network on my Pace 5268AC.  When I try to set the address range manually, I get an error saying "The manually configured DHCP range is not within the specified subnet."  I'm attaching a picture with the settings I'm using.

Hello, @MOUS! We understand that you are having trouble with limiting the address pool on your modem.

We suggest you reset your Wi-Fi gateway back to original settings.

  1. Press and hold the gateway Reset button for at least 10 seconds. If you let go before 10 seconds, the gateway will reboot, but won't reset.
  2. Wait until the gateway restarts and all the status lights are lit.
  3. See if the Broadband or Service lights are solid green. If so, the reset worked.

Also, from the screenshot you sent us, the First DHCP address is 192.168.1.0, we suggest raising the lower range to 192.168.1.50.

Please let us know if that helps.

Thanks Faith, that was what I needed to know.  The "First DHCP Address" and "Last DHCP Address" are the addresses that are removed from the address pool.  Also, the "First DHCP Address" cannot be zero.

You are welcome, @MOUS

Just to confirm, did you change the "First DHCP Address" from zero? We are asking, so we may know if that helped with limiting the address pool for your gateway.

We look forward to hearing back.

Hi Faith,

Yes, I changed the "First DHCP Address" to 192.168.1.120 and that worked.  Thanks again for your help.
