Numerous NAD-3302 errors in San Antonio, TX tonight

With cold temps between 29° F and 34° F and some slight rain plus a few slippery roads, many AT&T  internet users in the 78238/Timberhill area have been loosing connections with reports of NAD-3302 errors. The "outages" have been pretty often but have not lasted long...so far. We all have thought that after the MAJOR outages from last February 2021, AT&T would have improved the system. Well...what's the problem this time?

Hi there, BoringoPR1994! Let's get all our users in San Antonio working again.

Error: NAD-3302 means that the router was not able to connect to the Broadband service. This can occur due to emergency network maintenance or other unforeseen temporary service disruptions.

Normally when this happens, there is a red light on the router. Once the outside problem has been resolved the light will turn back green again. After the green light has come back on the service should resume as normal. If the user or users service has not returned, here are some troubleshooting steps that may be helpful.

  1. Make sure that all cables in the back of gateway are secure.
  2. Follow the steps in the How to Restart and Factory Reset your Gateway.

Now this should restore the service. If the service is not restored, then one of your users can contact our tech support desk, by dialing 1800-288-2020, and we can see if there is a problem with the external AT&T equipment.

If there is anything else that we can do for you, please let us know.

Thank you for using the AT&T Community Forums.
