Non-returned equipment charge erroneously applied

Hello

I have received an erroneous charge for non-returned equipment.

I have an "AT&T U-verse CPE return receipt" from the UPS store, with a reference number and tracking number.

Regardless, the charge was forwarded to a debt collection agency because the equipment was never received by AT&T.

I have called several times, only to hear that I need to return to the UPS store to investigate this issue.

I consider that this is very poor customer service and I am very disappointed.

I would appreciate if you could contact me with regard to this.

Hello @angelosk,

You would need to contact the billing department with the tracking number from the return, then they can credit back the equipment charge and that would remove your account from collections.

I have contacted the billing department with the tracking number, but they have refused to remove the charge.
