Nighthawk LTE mobile hotspot

I have to reboot my mobile hotspot several times a day to maintain internet connection. The odd thing is you can do a speed test and it’s good like 50M but you can’t get to internet until you reboot. It matters not if I’m over 22GB or not. It will do even when the new billing cycle starts and data usage goes to zero. It acts like DNS issue

Allow us to assist with what could be causing your mobile hotspot to need rebooting just to connect to the internet. It's likely you will want to check whether it's due for a software update:

  1. Turn on Mobile Hotspot (MHS).
  2. Connect a phone, tablet, or laptop to the MHS.
  3. From the browser of the connected device, go to http://attwifimanager.
  4. Enter admin credentials.
  5. Select Settings > Administration > Firmware Update.
  6. Select Check for updates.

Make sure to download any available updates. Downloads are available via Firmware Over the Air (FOTA) or self-discovery. The device must be connected to the AT&T network to receive the download.

The firmware is up to date. Called for help now they have changed my account from 22GB unlimited to 15GB without my authorization I’m in the red

Have you tried Troubleshooting your Nighthawk LTE Mobile Hotspot? This tool provides guided steps that identifies device technical concerns and can result in quick fixes. 

 

Also, have you called in to address the unauthorized change regarding your GB amount and have it reversed?
