New home at&t wifi slow on all devices

New house, new at&t wifi. All devices are up to date with latest software. Speed tests show we are getting what we are paying for (300MB). Problem is every device is barely connecting (1 or 2 bars max on apple devices, even when standing a few feet away) and very slow when using the wifi (browsing internet, opening pages, downloading). TV is also slow when changing channels and wating for new selection to start. Can you please advise? Same devices in my prior house (2 months ago) had none of these issues. Thanks

We'd love to help get all your device connected and working at great speed, @RDR.

Are you experiencing this at any particular time of the day? Are your device connected via WiFi or Ethernet cable? Did you reset your router/modem?

To get started, we suggest that you reset your router/modem by unplugging the power cord from the wall outlet, then plug it back in after 10 -15 seconds.   Doing this can help improve your speed and WiFi performance.

We also suggest that you check out the smart home manager, it is a free tool that helps personalize your home WiFi experience.

Hi Yetty.

The issue happens all the time (not a particular time of day only). We are connected via WiFi, not hardwired. I did the reset of the router. Unfortunately, nothing has changed. We are constantly at 1-2 bars and everything done on the WiFi (TV, smart phones, laptops) is extremely slow.

It is disappointing because as mentioned our installation was only done about 2 months ago. We were hoping not to experience problems this soon. Do you recommend I request a service visit from at&t?
