WiFi isn’t “5G”, I suspect you mean 5Ghz vs 2.4Ghz, the two common WiFi frequencies. Log into your router to see if the WiFi is set to 5Ghz or 2.4Ghz.

Thanks Sandblaster, for your response and correction.  That's how much I know (or don't know).

We're here to assist with your Wi-Fi inquiry, @gfheyes!

Just as our ACE @sandblaster mentioned, we recommend you check your Wi-Fi settings to see if you see a 5 GHz network. You can also change your 5 GHz network name to make is easier to identity when searching for networks. You can use these steps to check your Wi-Fi information:

  1. Sign in to Smart Home Manager.
  2. Scroll to the My Wi-Fi card and choose Change next to the name or password.
  3. Select X to clear existing info, then enter a new name or password.
  4. Select Save.
  5. Reconnect your devices with the updated network info.

Let us know if this helps!
