Netgear MR60 mesh wireless router stopped working with PlayStation 5.
About a week ago my PlayStation 5 stopped connecting to the internet. I am getting errors on DNS and failing at NAT type. I am sometimes able to get it working by changing DNS from Google 8.8.8.8/8.8.4.4 and back again to automatic DNS service.
I know the issue is either AT&T or Netgear since I'm able to connect PS5 to my AT&T iPhone 12's hotspot with no network connection issues at all. I have 30+ connected devices and everything is working perfectly other than PS5.
Things I've tried...
- Factory reset the Arris BGW210-700 modem/router attached to Netgear mesh wireless router and updated modem/router to passthrough to Netgear wireless router. Everything still works but the PS5.
- I've also port forwarded both modem and router for PlayStation Network. Didn't think I'd need to do this but was a last-ditch-effort.
Luckly I can still play via my iPhone's hotspot but would like some help on getting this working again via my home network.
Note: This problem started about a week ago. I've had the PS5 for almost a year and have played every day since with no issues.
Thanks in advance.
