Moving gateway
I am finishing the basement and want to have the gateway downstairs. How difficult is it to move it and what issues can doing it myself cause?

If you have internet only that plugs into a phone jack, should be no problems to plug into an active phone jack downstairs. Might have wireless connection problems w/the gateway in the basement though.
If you also have Uverse TV, it is a big deal that probably should be left upto a Uverse prem tech, at a cost, to do it correctly. Good luck 😉
