Losing Wi-Fi on certain devices
We are losing our Wi-Fi on our Ring camera, and 2 Amazon smart plugs daily. By rebooting the system from the Smart Home app brings them back. Our Wi-Fi signal strength is strong. We have an Air 4920 extender. This is only happening in the front half of the house where our extender is. Any help?

You mentioned the AirTies was in the front of the house and obviously that's close to the Ring. Extenders should be placed about halfway between the AT&T gateway and where you need the signal. Too far away from the gateway and it loses the ability to extend the signal back to the gateway. I don't use it but I believe the AT&T Smart Home Manager app has a tool that is supposed to help place the extender in the right place.
That being said, I just commented to another post similar to yours. The 4920/21 have not produced the reliability one would expect. What you're seeing may also be the typical failure mode for a unit that is flaking out after a couple of years, especially if it's been working fine for some time before now.

Thank you. We have not had any problems for at least 5 years now with our extender. I will look into replacing it

Would you please recommend an extender. Our tech suggested the Eero Wi-Fi extender. Could you verify that it is a good choice

You can take their word for it or do your own research. Almost anything name brand will be far superior to the gateway.
To make it easier for yourself though I’d suggest the personal router have the ability to operate as an access point to simplify install and support.

Thank you for taking the time to answer. Do I need to replace the AT&T Uverse Router also? Sorry, I'm slightly tech, but still need someone to hold my hand. I have the 4920 extender and would like to know what to replace it with

Not sure what kind of router you have but can you point your Ring devices to the Guest Network, which is 2.4GHz only? That's what I did with my Ring cameras (doorbell and motion detector cams/lights). I actually gave the Guest Network a separate SSID and password and have connected all of my 2.4GHz IoT devices to that. Works perfectly. I've never really had good luck with extenders so I opted for a Mesh WiFi system with two satellites which solved any coverage issues we had.
