Internet service dropping in and out

I am having problems with my internet dropping in and out on it's own. The problem started around 2/16. The service lights will flash or go out completely. This results in a loss of internet for all devices. I can sometimes get around it by: waiting a few minutes, rebooting the router or pressing a button on the modem. It's doing this every 5 minutes or so.
