Internet disconnecting multiple times an hour for the past week
Orange County, CA. Over the past week, I've noticed my internet drops for about 30 seconds to a minute before reconnecting. Every hour I disconnect at least 3 times, no exaggeration. My computer has a wired ethernet connection. Is there a solution that I can implement myself, or would calling a technician be the next step?

@heyitsian Omg, I just disconnected at 4:35 too, and I'm pretty sure at 4:33 when I noticed my sites wouldn't load just prior to sending my friend a screenshot of my messages hanging to send on Discord at that exactly 4:35. I'm so confused...
Are you in a Discord call or something and see when it drops to log those times?

Oh, gotcha. So you're just logging the times during your session. And I just dropped again at 4:52. This is just horrible..

I have asked that a support rep look into your situation. I'm not sure if they will address anyone but the original poster, but at least he should hear something in this thread.

Here are my disconnection times from last evening, 6-1-21.
Thank you @JefferMC for all your help in the matter. I'll let everyone else know what AT&T has to say if they address me privately.
And as @noodle123 said, let's try to raise awareness of the issue by calling in if you haven't already. Let's get this issue solved for good soon.
Edit: Disconnected 4 times between 7:45 PM and 7:53 PM on today, 6-2-21. Further proves disconnections are completely arbitrary.

@heyitsian, thank you for your response.
AT&T is only part of the experience. Your home setup is the other. If your modem is not in the right place, your speeds may suffer.
Let us know so we can better assist you with your internet concerns.
Thank you for contacting us on AT&T Community Forums!

@ATTHelp
Your canned response is not very helpful and poor customer service. Read this entire thread and see that we are ALL having very similar issues. One person even swapped out their ATT modem and no improvement. Based on what people are sharing this appears to be an issue at least in Orange County. What are you doing on the ATT side of things to find a resolution? This seems to be an exterior line issue or something else that is not our home set up. How can you and your support team check the lines and connections based on all of the internet dropping data that has been shared on this thread?
Please help us or escalate to someone who can. I think that other than this issue which unfortunately is very negatively impacting probably more than just the folks on this thread, we all like and want to keep our internet service with you. We just need some help.
Thanks!

I apologize @SOTOC21 , I asked for help from AT&T Support, but this is not the kind of help I was expecting or you should be getting. I don't ask for special technical attention on a thread like this very often. When I do, I expect to get something better than Lafayette's bot-like responses here.
I may be as unhappy with his posts as you are.

I also live in Orange county and yes this is happening to me too. It's getting really annoying because I tried calling but all I get is the robot.

I could not get thru to a live person either, other than on chat at 3:00AM once. I ended up walking in to an AT&T store and although they could not help me they gave me this number and a real person actually spoke with me. 877-377-0415
They tried additional trouble shooting and are now sending me another modem as they won’t do anything about the lines until we try the new modem first. At least they are trying more than just telling me to check my hone set up.
