How to use DDNS with the Pace 5268ac router? (Or do I need it at all?)

I do not see an option in the router configuration to use a DDNS service (such as no-ip.com). I just need to know my public IP address and I do not want to put another router on top of the provided one. I also read in one thread that the IP address should pretty much stick with the router (even for people who do not subscribe to the static IP service). Can anyone confirm (if this is the case, there is no need to run a DDNS service)? Thanks.

Okay, according to AT&T Customer Care, "events that lead to the IP address changing are like swapping current modem for a new one or if a technician while on a repair or install changes the port where your services are connected at the terminal." So it looks like it's pretty much a static IP and no DDNS service is need. That's actually pretty sweet.

Yes, the "dynamic" IP do seem pretty much "static".Man Surprised

As for knowing what your public IP is you can always find that out from sites like whatsmyip.

Yes, I know how to get the IP address when I'm at home. I was wondering about a case when I would not have access to the router or any of the systems on my home network.
