How to change NAT type on an AT&T U-verse wifi router
So, my NAT type is currently set to Moderate . I play on the Xbox, and this is affecting what i can and cannot do on.lime Otherwise it just blocks them out with a NAT type error. I know that Moderate is not great for gaming because it restricts connection with other things, and thats why im here. Can somebody please tell me how to change my NAT type from Moderate to less restrictive type (open)? I know it is a setting no my router (BGW210-700) but I not sure where It is?

Hey, @Andy_stinson. We'd be glad to help improve your NAT type.
What internet plan do you have? You can't change the NAT type through a setting on your router, it changes automatically based on the quality of your console's internet connection. You can try to open your NAT by Optimizing your Internet Connection. Depending on your internet plan you may have a very hard time approaching an open NAT, such as if you have fixed wireless internet. The suggestions in that article are all recommended for improving your NAT type.
