How do I use the Reset button in the AT&T 2WIRE 3600HGV router?

From reading the manual for the 3800 version, it looks like you use the Reset button to reboot the router and also to restore the router to factory settings.  But I can't find the directions on how to do the reset.  How many seconds do I hold the reset button to simply reboot the router?  How many seconds do I hold the reset button to restore the router to factory settings? Does it give these instructions in the manual?  If that's the case I cannot find them.

Update: I figured out how to do a reboot of the router and a restore the router to factory settings by software.

But is there a way to do a reboot and a restore to factory settings by using the reset button on the router?

Here is the manual for the 2WIRE 3600HGV router.--Thanks.

Using the end of a paperclip or other small object press and hold down the reset button for around 10 seconds.

Is there two uses for the physical reset button?  one to reboot the router, a second to restore the router to factory settings? Does holding it down for 10 seconds only reboot the router and doesn't touch the factory settings?

Thanks.

If it's like most of the other att gateways then the answer is yes.  Pressing reset for 10 or less secs. is just a reboot (like pulling the plug).  Pressing more is a factory reset.  That's why I always suggest pressing about 15 secs. to perform a factory reset.
