I just downloaded Office 2013 and want to configure Outlook for my email. for some reason it keeps getting hungup on the outbound server. Can anyone provide the full details (once and for all)?

Which link no longer works? The one from several years ago that I said was outdated two years ago? Or the one from two years ago that I just confirmed does work: https://www.att.com/esupport/article.html#!/email-support/KM1010491

>>Which link
The original article
"Please reference this document for Outlook 2013 set up instructions: https://getsocial.att.com/docs/DOC-1295"
The link you sent gets me to a very general page with many topics, none of which are setup Outlook 2013.
So here is what Outlook 13 asks TODAY
Email Account or Manual Setup or additional server types?
Using email account option it asks Name, email, password twice
It then takes me to a screen that pre-fills imap.mail.att.,net as Server
Trying to continue from here gets me a message that a test e-mail message coud not be sent.
Let's try manual setup
Choices of Microsoft Exchange Server or compatible service
Outlook.com or Exchange ActiveSync compatible service
POP or IMAP
suppose I choose POP or IMAP
The fields I need help with are:
Account Type: POP3 or IMAP?
incoming mail server
Outgoing mail server (SMTP)
Require logon using SPA
Knowing these answers would really help.
I thank you kindly if you or anyone can help,.

@mountpaul:
The link @JefferMC sent you is the correct current link. It should be obvious to anyone using the internet through a web browser how to navigate it! You really can't figure it out?
I guess you need step by step instructions to get to the Outlook 2013 step by step instructions!
