How do I get my Pace 5628AC to reconnect to my service?

My Pace 5628 AC gateway was disconnected from power and cable for several hours today. Since reconnecting the power and cable cords, the broadband light continues to flash red.

We'd be glad to help you reconnect your gateway, Ckarr83!

A flashing red Broadband light on the Pace gateway means that it can't connect to our network or isn’t detecting a DSL signal. You can learn more about gateway lights and their meanings on our website.

A good way to fix this is by performing a factory reset. This will refresh the gateway itself as well as its connection. Just locate the small red button and pinhole on the lower rear of the gateway and depress for about 15 seconds.

Keep in mind that this will return all gateway settings to a default state! Any custom Wi-Fi passwords, Wi-Fi names, SSID, Static IP, and Port Forwarding rules will be lost.

Let us know if this helped or if you need further assistance!

The red broad band light is still flashing after unplugging and rebooting as well as pressing the red reset button.  What else can I try?
