How do I turn off the WiFi in my new AT&T U-verse/Pace router. I have a new installation and the WiFi channels compete with my existing personal WiFi network that I want to connect to it.

How do I turn off the WiFi in my new AT&T U-verse/Pace router. I have a new installation and the WiFi channels compete with my existing personal WiFi network that I want to connect to it.

Access the gateway with a browser (http://192.168.1.254/), navigate to the wifi section and turn it off. If it's a dual band gateway then be sure to turn off the 5GHz band as well.
