High Latency Fixed Wireless

Within the past two weeks my latency in games has been ridiculously high. Normally it's below 90ms even during busy hours but now it often refuses to drop below 130ms. Nothing major has happened and my pc is the only thing cobbected to my router via ethernet. No physical damage or anything like that to the antenna. Anybody have any advice? I've checked my pc for backround software or downloads but absolutely nothing is running. This makes me believe it is something on their end but who knows. Is anyone else having similar issues?

Just commented on this in another post. You arent alone here. Att did something, because I havent touched a dang thing, and for the last 3-4 days, right around noon everything goes to heck. Once it goes bad, you cant even download a 10mb update on the Xbox without it taking almost a half hour. And I'm NOT exaggerating.

If they are working on something or whatever, they should tell people. They dont really care about fixed wireless customers tho. Why else do you think we are excluded from having no data cap* during the pandemic like all other customers then? (*Read the fine print) Oh yeah, forgot about DSL customers, they arent valued by att either. Cant even watch HBO Max without it counting. They say you can, but watch it (when the internet lets you) and you'll see it count.

If you have a data cap, which fixed wireless does (500gb here) then my speeds should NEVER be de-prioritized until AFTER i hit my limit. I've not even used half that this month.

We're here to help, @charlieedington690.

Have you already tried rebooting the gateway? Does this occur with all games on your computer or just a particular one?

Last year they did an update around November to December and it killed everything barely any better since then!! AT&T should refund all our money for telling us how much better the stuff is than satellite when we switched I’m sure they told y’all the same thing they’re a bunch of liars and I hope karma catches up with them one day and as far as the Help person’s concern don’t patronize us with your stupid questions heck yes we’ve tried all that stuff it’s on your end!!

The only way that stuffs going to get fixed is when I move next year and go get  real Internet from another company I’ve been with AT&T for 10+ years and I will never do business with them again once I leave here. I will change my phones ,my Internet and my cable to somebody that really gives a darn about my business!!
