hidden network

I have a hidden network that is acting as a mirror image of my network connection. I want to know why it is there and how I can remove it. My service is already so bad it should not even exist, and now this. Why is it there, and how do I get rid of it. If someone else is using all my nonexistent bandwidth, that would explain why my service (Edited per community guidelines). All I have to do is log on, and a month of data has been used.

Is there someone who will help.

Happy to look into this for you, @davidandrew.

Please provide more details so we can help you find a solution.

  • Do you have U-Verse, DSL, or Fixed Wireless?
  • How and when did you discover this hidden network?
  • Do you have any tools in place to protect your network?

We'll be awaiting your response.

U-Verse that was supposed to be DSL

WiFi is supposed to  be protected by use of password.

Found this by using wifi explorer.

I've had nothing but trouble from the start and still can't find solutions.

Thanks but Smart Home manager does not work and never has. I've changed the name and password and still no change. Thanks anyway.

We're here to help, @davidandrew.

What error message do you get when logging into the smart home manager? After changing your Wi-Fi name and password of your Wi-Fi, does the Wi-Fi name of the mirror image of your network change as well?

Let us know more so we can better assist you.
