Hi, I have the Arris NVG510. I've had it for a really long time.

NVG510 not a gigabit router.  I've had this router for a really long time.  I rent this thing.  I believe it's a bottleneck in my home wired network.  Is there a gigabit router available?  And can I get it with NO increase in monthly fee?

The 510 is (was) an ADSL2+ single pair gateway where the best internet speed is 18/1. Other speed tiers for ADSL2+ would be 12, 10, 6, 5. 3, 1.5 and .76

Upload wil always be less than 1.

The wifi network is 2.4Ghz b/g/n with I believe 100M ethernet ports.

The general replacement or new install for ADSL2+ gateway is currently the 5031 with similar numbers or the 589 with 1000M internet. Monthly cost of $7 or $10, depending on when account established, would remain the same.

Call 800.288.2020 to schedule a replacement either shipped or tech service call.
