Getting Chromecast to work again with AT&T

A couple of years ago, I bought a Chromecast, set it up and it worked beautifully.  One day after a power outage, the modem got rebooted and since that time, it no longer worked in one critical area.


I am able to connect and set up.  I have reset the Chromecast and set up many times including successfully logging into the network.  I even bought a new Chromecast and set it up.  But all has the same problem:  When I go to cast, the screen goes black for ten seconds and then gives this message "Chromcast seemed to have lost connection with your network."


I've seen different views on this and what needs to be changed on the firewall, etc.  Most give partial information and non was a solution I was able to get to work.  Can you give me the exact changes that have to take place to the AT&T router/firewall to allow Chromecast to work?  I suspect this is where the problem is since it worked so well for a while until the modem got reset.
