Firmware updates for Pace 5268AC?

Is there a way to check for any firmware updates for the Pace 5268AC?  I can see that my current software version is

11.12.1.533524-att but haven't found any way to determine if this is up to date or not, and if not, how to update with any security updates.

As Raiden stated, @des619, there's no way to look up when your gateway was last updated or if it's currently up-to-date.

You can always perform a factory reset to re-download the current firmware. Any changes you've made to the settings will be lost.

If you need further assistance with your gateway's performance, let us know.

We're happy to answer your question about your gateway's firmware, @des619.

When new or updated firmware is prepared, it's sent directly to the gateway.

There's no option to manually push new updates like you would do with a mobile device.

We hope that clears things up for you. If you have any other questions, let us know.

Is there any way that I can tell when my router was last updated and whether it us up-to-date?  e.g if I am suddenly having a problem, it would be extremely useful to know if the router was update overnight, possibly causing the problem.  Or if I hear about a new security threat, I would want to know that the router had received an update, rather than being 9 months out of date.

@des619

You can check the Software Version by downloading our Smart Home Manager and doing the following:

  1. Open Smart Home Manager and select Network.
  2. Select Home Network Hardware.

  3. Select Wi-Fi Gateway and then Device Details.

  4. Find your software version listed at the bottom of the screen.

Thank you for being a part of our AT&T Community!

That will find the software version, but how do I find out if that is in fact up-to-date and how long it has been since it was updated?

I see that I am now running version 11.13.1.533656-att which is different that when I posted my original question yesterday.  Does this indicate my router was updated since yesterday (possibly at an inconvenient time)?

Thanks for keeping us updated, @Des1967.

There currently is no way to look up when your router was last updated.

If you still need help, could you let us know what the problem you mentioned earlier is?

None of the AT&T employees who "don't necessarily represent AT&T's position ..." (what on earth is that about?) seem to be able or willing to answer my fundamental question that I've asked three times now:  how do I tell if my router is up-to-date?  I can only assume there is no way to know.

Well, actually Raiden did not say anything about how to tell if the router is up-to-date.  You have now (finally) answered that there is no way to find out.

I have recently received an email message asking me to accept the solution but find no place on the forum to do so.

Now the option to mark as accepted answer appeared after I sent that last reply.  I'll mark it as such since the question is now answered, although the fact that AT&T doesn't provide any way for the customer to find out if their router is up-to-date is not acceptable.
